Balloon Fest

The QCNJ Balloon Festival was sooooo much fun!  There were so many vendors giving out free goodies!  I got a free hat, bag, jar opener, littlest pet shop band aids, and lots of snacks!  There were sooo many pretty balloons! It was amazing when they were all up in the air.  Some even glowed at night!  There were also skydivers who did tricks in the air.  It was awesome!
The Barenaked Ladies concert was great.  Some hot air balloons were right next to the stage and more came throughout the concert.  I love the Barenaked Ladies!  They always do great concerts!  It was fun to hear all their comments about the balloons.

Another Week

Camping was fun.  It was pretty much what I expected, lots of bugs.  The food was good though and being around a campfire was nice.  It was really hot though.  On Saturday night, they showed Toy Story 3 in the front lawn.  It was fun to sit with everyone and watch it.  Our neighbors were very noisy at night.  It was hard to fall asleep with them being loud. Overall it was a fun experience.  I'm happy to be home in the AC now.


Work was fun today.  The kids were pretty good.  I'm getting better at doing this.  I still have a lot to learn though.  I have Saturday off for the balloon festival!  It should be fun.

Gearing Up

My first day of work was on Monday.  It started off fine and got a bit hectic near the end.  I'm not good at working with children yet.  I have a lot to learn.  The abacus is somewhat easy to understand, but it takes me a little to know what number is what still.  I guess I will get better with practice.  I have work again Saturday so we will see how that goes.

I am going camping tomorrow with my sister and some friends.  I have my tent, sleeping bag, and everything else I need all ready to go.  I've never been camping before.  I'm a bit nervous.  I really don't like bugs and I'm not too into being outdoors.  But, I'll be with friends so it should be fun.  We are staying from Friday to Sunday (I'm still going to work on Saturday).

I got off from work for the Balloon Festival so now I don't have to miss anything!  It should be a lot of fun.  I love the Barenaked Ladies and I can't wait to see them perform.  They always give great concerts!

I was in the city the past few days.  I went to Nintendo World today for a Mario Kart K'Nex event.  They gave out free Luigi figures and I bought a K'Nex Mario Kart.  I just finished building it.  It came with a Mario figure and a banana, so they are on the car, and I put Luigi on it too!  It's just like Double Dash!

It's really hot, I hope it cools down soon.

Got a Job!

Well I have a job now.  I'm a teacher's assistant at Aloha Mental Math.  It's two days a week and it seems like it will be fun.  The program they teach uses the abacus to solve math problems.  I got a small demo on how to use it and I am going to be trained to learn more.  It seems very interesting and helpful with solving problems.  I've never taught children before, so I have a lot to learn.  Hopefully, things go well!

Since I work Saturday mornings, I'm going to be missing most of the balloon festival I am going to on the 30th.  Work comes first, but I feel bad that my parents are going to miss it too.  At least we will be able to see the Barenaked Ladies perform.

Even though things are going well, I feel very down.  I don't know why.  I hope I don't stay like this.

There's a comic book store by where I work.  I bought a book there the other day about Green Arrow's origin story.  I read it and it's so good.  I want to get more.  There goes all the money I earn...

It may be a no, but it made me so happy to receive a response.  I have no idea why, lol.  It just feels nice when people respond I guess.

In video game news, I have been playing Rune Factory 3.  I am so confused on who to marry.  I like Carmen and Daria.  But Daria is all like, "Rainbow!!!!!"  I think it makes me less likely to pick her.  She's a bit too hyper for me.  I do like the whole artsy thing, though.  Carmen just seems more normal, lol.  And I do like fishing in Natsume games.  So maybe I will go with Carmen after all.  I was also considering going for Kuruna.  But I don't think I will.  Hmmm, now I want to play, so I will.

Lately

I just finished watching all the episodes of Ouran High School Host club (I didn't watch them all at once).  I absolutely loved the series.  I want to cosplay Haruhi so badly!  I think I will.  I love cosplaying, but I can't sew my own costumes and I can't afford for someone else to...well usually.  The Haruhi costume is actually affordable.  So I may just get it :)

I have a job interview coming up :)  Let's see how it goes.

I am still looking for jobs or a job.  Either is fine.  I'm thinking of starting some projects of my own to keep me busy.  All I've been doing is watching anime, playing video games, and looking for work.  I think working on something will be good for me.  I just need to get over my laziness (It's very hard to do).

Website Done!

I finished making my new site!  All the pages are up now.  I like it, but let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions.
Now I can get back to other work I have to do.

Website is Working

So my website layout is working now!  I'm so happy!  I finished the analog art section and I'm half way through the digital art section.  All that's left is the rest of the digital section and the video section and then my website goes public.  I hope people like it.
In other news, I've been putting off my job search a bit while I finish my website.  But that's ok, right?  I'll continue when I have a good portfolio to show.

Happy belated 4th of July as well!  I went to fireworks last night with my friends.  It was fun.  They had star and heart shape ones!  Such technology! 

Website Workings.

   I'm redoing my website without flash.  It seems flash has only caused me problems.  However, it seems nothing wants to line up for me now.  I'm tempted just to leave it misaligned, but it looks unprofessional.  I don't know how to fix it though.  I've tried hundreds of things and none of them work.  It's really pissing me off.  I hope I can fix this.  It's starting to kill me.

Starting a Blog

  Well, I decided to start a blog here.  My other blog was kind of boring and blank looking.
  I have a lot of work to do on my website.  I'm going to redo it in two versions, one with flash and one without.  In the flash version, only the header will be in flash.  This way I can keep my pretty crow and fix some of the loading issues.  I still have to work out video on my site.  There are some I do not wish to post on youtube, but I want them on my site.  They just won't load when I try and do that.  So much to do.
  I also need to work on a demo reel.  I need to put together a decent one so I can get a job.  I've been applying to a lot of jobs.  I hope I can get one!  I'm trying for math tutoring and art stuff.  I'll be happy with whatever I can get.
