Art of the Day - Lions' Gaze

First up is Lions' Gaze.  This is an acrylic painting I made in high school.  I used palette knifes and my fingers to paint it.  It was a lot of fun.  I really enjoy painting, I should paint more.

I Wish it Would End

Well, I guess stuff happened between now and the last post.
We picked out the bridesmaid dresses for the wedding.  It's a nice dress.  I have to get a size 8/10 though because my boobs are too big.
We decided to go with cowboy boots to wear with the dresses.  I still have to buy mine.

I've been crazy depressed lately.  I'm starting to just hate everything.

What else did I do over the summer?

I went to a BNL concert, a Bon Jovi concert, saw Cinderella on Broadway, saw Spiderman on Broadway.
There was a Bridal Shower and a Bachelor/Bachelorette party.
I went to the aquarium.
I just got back from Lancaster, PA.  That was fun.

Anyway, I'm going to start posting my old artwork.  One a day.  Until I have nothing left to share.  I'll have to make more then I guess.  First one is coming.

Meh

Well, I finished up work on the animation I was inbetweening.  It looks really nice so far!  It was a lot of fun to work on and I learned so much!  I hope I can work on another project soon.
I also got the new Animal Crossing game.  It's so much fun.  I love the fortune cookies that get you Nintendo themed items.  I want to collect them all!  This will keep me busy for a while.

Next weekend is bridesmaid dress shopping for my sister's wedding.  I hope it goes well and we can all find a dress to agree on.  I'm not really in the mood for drama.
I'm rather depressed lately.  I just can't get over my ex no matter what I do.  It really sucks and I don't really have anyone to talk with about it.  I don't have any friends that I would really talk about that with.  Not any that would care anyway.  I would just be told to get over it and they would change the subject.  Not very helpful.  It seems like he's doing well though, at least from what I see on fb.  I hope when he gets another girlfriend he treats her right and I hope he's happy because I'm sure as hell not.
I've been trying online dating, but once these guys ask to meet me, I don't really feel like it.  I guess I don't really want a relationship, I just need people to talk to.  I wish I had better friends.
Anyway, work has been alright.  I'm really getting sick of it though.  But I can't really search for a new job until after my sister's wedding.  I don't want to be like, by the way, I need this week off in October.  Sigh, life sucks.

I went to Animenext a few weeks ago.  At least that was a lot of fun.  I forgot about all my problems while I was there.  I was Sakura (Naruto Shippuden) on Friday.  The wig was a big hassle, but I still had fun and several people took my picture!  I bought a gorgeous lolita dress from Baby the Stars Shine Bright.  Since I spent over $300 there, I got to attend the private tea party with the designers and CEO.  There were only ten of us lolitas.  I was very nervous since it was my first time ever as a lolita, but everyone was so nice!

 I had a lot of fun at the tea party!  Now I want to get more lolita dresses.  I'll save up for another one in the future.

This  past weekend I went to the Meadowlands fair for dollar day.  It was so crowded, but fun.  We ate hot dogs, walked around, played some games, and saw the hypnotist.  My friend Leanne did the guess your age game.  The guy thought she was only 14 when she is really 23!  She won a lot of pretty tattoos.  The next day was my sister's birthday party.  That was fun as well.  Surprisingly everyone got along better than usual.  We went in the pool and played Disney karaoke.  Sunday was the boat club picnic.  The food was very good and it was relaxing to watch all the boats in the water.

Super Tired Random Snippets

I have no idea if it's because the clocks were changed forward an hour, but I am really tired.  I just want to sleep.
I got a scene in the mail to animate on Friday.  I finished inbetweening one set of characters so far.  I have to inbetween the rest soon.  I'm just really tired.
I'm trying to stay awake because my parents come home from California today.  I want to be awake to greet them.
I saw the Oz movie on Thursday night/Friday morning.  I enjoyed it.  I saw it in Imax so some parts made me a little dizzy-ish.  I went with my sister, friend Rob, and his friend, Nick.  It was fun, but it was very snowy outside.  Driving home wasn't fun.
The snow was worse on Friday.  I hate shoveling.

Not Doing Well

Last night, I went to Indie Game Night.  It was a lot of fun to see everyone's projects.  There were some really cool looking games there and even an awesome comic book.  I didn't talk much to anyone, being shy and all, but I still had a good time.
I went to the Caldwell Diner beforehand with a friend.  The quesadillas there are very good!
On my way there, I passed by my ex's house, it was a sad moment, but I didn't let that get to me.  However, on the way home, my directions took me past the Houlihans he always took me too.  That made me really depressed.  I miss him still. :(
I was supposed to go to Mitsuwa today, but my stomach is acting all funny.  It's like my insides are coming out of me, all bloody and tissue-like.  I wish I knew what was wrong with me.  This happens every few months, and I'm getting tired of it.  I went to the doctor a few years back and even had a colonoscopy, but he told me I'm fine.   It's just like, ok, but why is this happening?
I also have bladder issues.  I have to pee a lot, especially at night.  It's like every time I go to lie down, I have to pee.  Even if I just peed before.  It sucks.  But again, nothing is wrong according to the doctors.  I feel like I'm falling apart.  Maybe I just should fall apart, it might be better.

Running Low on Chocolate

Well, things are going alright.  I got another job offer during the summer to teach a few children about stop motion.  That should be fun if things all work out.
I've had a claymation teaching job that fell through, but I think that was because of the company I was doing it for.  This one is just for a parent who's son is interested.  So things may work out well.
I got information about a Pixar internship.  I'm going to do my best to get a demo reel together.  I hope they will accept it without me still being in college.
Work at Bloomfield is going well.  I actually enjoy it.  But it kind of stinks for the students.  The computer lab/classroom is really run down.  No one seems to really clean it.  Most of the lights are out as well and the chairs are pretty much all broken.  The computers only work sometimes and the server can be realllllllly slow.  Yesterday, we wrote up a list of things that were wrong.  The tech guy came in after class and i helped him with some of the computer issues.  Only two computers are really fried right now, but he said he's going to get them fixed.  Let's hope so, and hope that the other issues get fixed soon.  These poor students are paying for classes where nothing works!
I've got more to work on for the stop motion.  Let's hope that this can be over soon!

I'm running out of my vday chocolates.  I want more chocolate!

Sad

Well, I'm not very happy lately.
I'm getting a bit tired of my current job and would like to find something relevant to what I went to school for.  But I have to keep at it until I find something else.  Steady pay is always good.
I currently have 2 freelance projects (maybe a 3rd for a friend) going on.  One I'm not getting paid for and it is a lot of work.  I'm supposed to have a nice edited version of the project for tomorrow, but a lot has happened to me recently, so I didn't get most of it done.  I'll send them what I have so far though.  It's too much work to be doing for free.  I've already used up 3 ink cartridges and broke my printer in the process.  I used A LOT of paper as well.  I'm not going to take any more jobs for free.  It's not worth it...well except for my friend.  He's great to work with and I have fun doing it.   It's not stressful.
The 3rd job is paid and I'm looking forward to it.  It's one thing I am happy about.  I love traditional animation and inbetweening.  I can't wait to get my scenes to work on!
The other bad news is that my boyfriend broke up with me last week.  He called me during a get together I was having with my friends.  The was a mood ruiner for that day...and this week.  I'm devastated.  I miss him so much.  Everyone keeps telling me I need to move on and that he wasn't worth it anyway.  But I still want to be with him. :(
At least it's almost March.  Maybe things will be better for my birthday...and if not, at least I'll be getting 8 boxes of Girl Scout cookies.  Cookies are always good.

A New Year

I'm tutoring at Bloomfield again starting tomorrow!  I work two days now, so I'm happy about that.
I'm just a bit worried about the weather.  I think it's hailing now, but I don't want it to be all snowy and icy when I have to drive to work.  It's scary.
I'm still working on the introduction for the web series.  I did a test version, and I am waiting to hear what they thought of it so I can start working on fixing and editing it.  I sent it on Friday, so I hope they get back to me soon.

I had a wonderful Christmas with my family.  The food was soooo good.  And I got a Wii U from Santa!  That was so exciting.
Later my boyfriend surprised me by getting me a PS3!  All these new systems to play!  It's a bit overwhelming.  He's so great!  I'm looking forward to Ni No Kuni coming out!  I reserved the special edition months ago, even though I didn't have the system.  My boyfriend bought me the PS3 so I can play Ni No Kuni since I'm so excited about it (and so I dont have to play at his place).

At home I've been cleaning a lot.  Since I got all these new systems, my mom also got a new TV for the living room.  It looks really nice on the wall.  I've been organizing all my games and dvds into the cabinet, as well as all my book into my bookshelves.  I have a lot more to clean though.  Hopefully the tree will be ready to come down on Friday!

Christmas Time is Almost Here!

Ok, I'm a lazy blogger.  I admit it.

I had a job from September to yesterday actually.  I was tutoring at Bloomfield for the semester.  Well, it was more like being a teacher's assistant during CAT 134 the Drawing for 2D Animation class.  It was a lot of fun.  I'm waiting to here news on if I will be doing it again next semester or not.
I'm still working at Aloha.  It's going alright.  I'm not a huge fan, but it's a job, so I really can't complain.
Also, I'm now working on a project for a web series.  I'm going to create a stop motion introduction animation for them.  I'm not getting paid, but it's something to do.
I did have an interview for a full time flash animator position.  I'm hoping I hear back from them soon.

Aside from work stuff, I won a contest on Wednesday!  The 10th day of the American Made Matters 12 days of giveaways.  I'm so happy!  I won some very cool prizes such as an alpaca scarf and a tub of Knex! 

Christmas is coming up.  I have everyone's gifts all wrapped and ready to go.  I can't wait!

Summer Summer

Well summer has been here.  I haven't done too much.
Let's see, I went to see some fireworks yesterday.  They were really pretty.  We got seats really close and the fireworks were so big!
I also went into the city yesterday for the Wii U Experience.  That was so much fun.  They has a lot of yummy snacks like cotton candy and fruit.  And i got to play the Wii U!  I played Just Dance, Mario, and Wii Fit!  I even won a prize while playing Mario.  I got a mini Koopa figure!  He's so cute.  I put him by my Peach and Luigi figures.  They also gave out mushroom cake pops on the way out.  They were delicious!

Today I watched some of Paradise Farm.  It's such a good drama and it has my favorite, most wonderful, Shim Changmin in it!  I love him so much <3
I also inflated my exercise ball.  It was a real workout hand pumping it, my arms are so tired.  That's probably the biggest workout I'll get from it, hahaha.  Well, I'll see :)

Tomorrow I'm going to see the Newsies with my mom.  I'm so excited.  I loved the movie, so I'm sure I'll reallllly love the play!  Well, that's all for now.

WIlderbrook

Website Stuff

I updated my website.  No more splash page and no more home page.  It goes right to my art work and then there is a me section.  I wanted to put my art in pop up things, but I couldn't figure out how to do it.  Maybe one day.  For now, everything is its own page.  If you have any comments or critiques, please let me know.  I think it looks much better than it did and it is also a lot easier to navigate.

Work is going okish.  I'm really not a fan of children.  I don't want to teach, but a job's a job.  I'm trying to find something better, but it isn't going well.

End of November

Well, Florida was a lot of fun.  I went to Disney World with my mom.  We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge which was a lot of fun.  We could see many different animals from our room!  Giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and more!

It was Christmas time in Disney, so we did Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  It was a lot of fun, but very crowded.  We also saw all the pretty Christmas lights in Hollywood Studios.

Free Cookies and Hot Chocolate!

For Thanksgiving, it was just my immediate family, my sister's fiance's family, and a friend.  There was a lot of delicious food.  We went Black Friday shopping too.  I went to Best Buy at midnight and picked up a limited edition Zelda 3DS.  We went to other stores too, but I didn't buy much else.  I did get a free snowglobe from JCPenny's though.

Lately, I've just been playing games on my 3DS.  I love it.  I usually keep the 3D very low or off though.  It's cool, but it gets a bit too much after a while for me.  I'm at the water temple now on Zelda Ocarina of Time.  Playing it again brings back a lot of memories.  I've also been playing Nintendogs.  My friend got it for me as a Christmas gift.  I have a Shiba named Oreo.  She's so cute!

Happy Veterans Day!  And Happy 11/11/11!

So I can eat gluten!  Yay!  I love my ramen!  All my bloodwork came out normal.  Now I have no idea what's wrong with me.  It's very frustrating.  I obviously have a problem and no one can tell me what it is.

Anyway, I went to Philadelphia on Wednesday.  I went to the Christopher Paolini book signing.  I'm so happy Inheritance came out!  I'm only 100 or so pages in (I'm a slow reader) but it's very good so far.  I'm so happy I got a chance to meet Christopher and have him sign my book!

He also signed my copy of Eragon.  I would have had him sign Eldest and Brisingr, but a little girl like me has trouble holding all four of these books at the same time.  Walking with them through Philadelphia would have been an even bigger problem.  The event was a lot of fun.  Christopher gave a lecture and it was very entertaining.  I also met a girl who was really into the series and we talked a bit.  I can't wait to read the rest of Inheritance!

Anyway, not up to much besides reading, playing Harvest Moon Hero of Leaf Valley, and working on some animation for Wilderbrook.  I'm going to Florida next week.  That should be fun.

I'm Not Dead Yet

Wow, it's been so long.  Sorry if anyone was waiting for me to post, not that I think anyone reads this...
Anyway, I'll talk about everything that's happened since my last post.
First things first, I'm single again.  My boyfriend and I broke up, but we are still friends.  We went to the zoo several weeks ago.  Here's a picture of a cute red panda I took:

 I also have been keeping in touch with my friend from Korea.  She sent me a package with some yummy snacks and fun items!  I was so happy!  I sent her a package with some things as well.  I hope one day to visit her in Korea again!

I went to Disneyland in mid-October.  We went to Mickey's Trick or Treat Party.  I dressed up as Pinocchio and trick or treated in Disney.  It was a lot of fun and I got so much candy!  It made up for the fact that I had work on Halloween.  I did, however, manage to squeeze in a bit of trick-or-treating after work.  I haven't missed a year yet.


On October 23, I went to the SM Town Live Concert in NYC.  It was so much fun.

 This picture is from the sound check party.  We weren't supposed to take pictures, but I didn't know it until after I had already taken this photo.  The sound check party was not worth the extra money I had to spend.  We were seated, and we got to listen and watch the sound check for about 3 songs for Girls Generation, which was fun.  But then we were told, "It's over.  You have to leave!" and not in a nice way.  It only lasted 40 minutes at most.  It was a bit disappointing.

However, the actual concert was amazing.  So many great performances!  It was so much fun!

The concert ended with all this confetti coming down!  It was so much fun! I hope they come back to perform next year!

Nothing much else has been going on.  I've been trying to figure out what's wrong with my stomach and such.  I'm waiting to hear back from the doctor about blood work stuffs.  I might have Celiac disease.   :(  I dont want it.  I love my ramen noodles!

I Love You Bun Buns! ♡

Bun Buns the rabbit passed away today.  She was one of the best rabbits.  She was big, white, and fluffy.  She loved to eat her vegetables and hay.  Bun Buns rest in peace and I love you.

On other news, I have been working new hours at my job.  I work Tuesday nights now.  They my add another class as well soon, so that means more hours.

Borders is going out of business.  I spent so much money on books.  I got a book on Actionscript 3.0.  I'm going to try and learn it so I can make cool flashy things.

My boyfriend lent me his PSP so I could play Harvest Moon Hero of Leaf Valley.  I love it so far.  I finally got to summer today.  Hopefully I get my horse soon.

Mapley

Well not too much has been going on since my last post.
I went to the mall and saw the cutest bunnies at the pet store.

I already have two rabbits, so I didn't adopt any more.  I called the one on the bottom, Cookie Dough and the one on the house, Dusty. They are so fluffy and cute!  I love them!!!

I went to Vermont last week, from Tuesday to Friday.  It was a lot of fun.  I got to eat maple ice cream!  It's so good.  I bought myself some maple candy and lots of other souvenirs.  I love Vermont so much.  I visited Lake Willoughby while I was there.  It's such a beautiful lake!  The water is so clear and nice!

It was cloudy that day, but the water was nice.  It was cold getting out though.  I hope I go again next year!

Balloon Fest

The QCNJ Balloon Festival was sooooo much fun!  There were so many vendors giving out free goodies!  I got a free hat, bag, jar opener, littlest pet shop band aids, and lots of snacks!  There were sooo many pretty balloons! It was amazing when they were all up in the air.  Some even glowed at night!  There were also skydivers who did tricks in the air.  It was awesome!
The Barenaked Ladies concert was great.  Some hot air balloons were right next to the stage and more came throughout the concert.  I love the Barenaked Ladies!  They always do great concerts!  It was fun to hear all their comments about the balloons.

Another Week

Camping was fun.  It was pretty much what I expected, lots of bugs.  The food was good though and being around a campfire was nice.  It was really hot though.  On Saturday night, they showed Toy Story 3 in the front lawn.  It was fun to sit with everyone and watch it.  Our neighbors were very noisy at night.  It was hard to fall asleep with them being loud. Overall it was a fun experience.  I'm happy to be home in the AC now.


Work was fun today.  The kids were pretty good.  I'm getting better at doing this.  I still have a lot to learn though.  I have Saturday off for the balloon festival!  It should be fun.
